Andrew S. Roffe

RoffeAndrew S. Roffe has been a Partner at Robinson + Cole LLP since 2002, and is the President of its government relations subsidiary, The Roffe Group of Robinson+Cole He has been practicing law in New York since 1972. He has enjoyed many years of public service in varied governmental positions. From 1978 to 1986, he served as Executive Counsel to Speaker Stanley Fink of the New York State Assembly. He has also served as Legislative Counsel to Westchester County Executive Alfred B. DelBello and as Legislative Aide and Political Consultant to numerous members of both the United States Senate and House of Representatives.

Mr. Roffe has been a registered lobbyist in New York State since 1988 and maintains offices in New York City and Albany for that purpose. He presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the New York Foundling and the Colgate University Alumni Council. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the New York City Anti-Defamation League, and a member of the board of the Primary Care Development Corporation, the New York School for the Deaf, the Sports Foundation, Inc. and Search for Change.

Mr. Roffe has lectured on Government Affairs and Administrative Law issues at New York University, Columbia University School of Law, Pace University School of Law, the State University of New York at Albany and Manhattanville College. He is admitted to practice in New York State and is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York State Bar Association.
He graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelors’ in Arts in 1968 and received his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law in 1971. He was admitted to the New York State bar in 1972.
